Catching up!

It was and is my desire to post here every week, though it may end up being every other week or maybe once a month.  Linc was sick for almost six weeks and as I was sharing with a dear sister in Christ the other day, when you have a baby, life is constantly in transition.  I realize it is like that without a baby, but the changes seem to come much more quickly.  Since my last entry, Ki has gone from sitting up, to crawling, to pulling up and he is a great helper...

Life goes so fast at our house, so fast that two weeks goes by in one blink.  So I am thankful that I get to spend it with my family and our sweet little man.  His enthusiasm, joy and and curiosity remind me that Jesus taught us to have the faith of a child and Paul said to make the most of every opportunity.
All of those things I always wanted to do pale in comparison to this gift that God has given me; my family, this life, with all of the good times and the trials; each and every one is from Him.

"Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow."  -James 1:17

"Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil."  -Ephesians 5:15-16
