First gymnastics meet of the year

This year, Elizabeth is on Beginner Team at Penobscot Valley School of Gymnastics.  We really wanted to move her up, since she has been at the top level of her class for 2 years now.  Team practice is an hour and a half twice a week and while she loves it, I think she is feeling quite stretched.  She is doing really well, though, considering she had to take 2 months off due to tendinitis in her knee.  She was cleared to go back just in time for the first meet at the end of January.  She was 5th place in her age group  and 2nd place on the beam.

Elizabeth definitely has a natural talent for gymnastics and she really enjoys it.  Thanks, Mom and Dad, for helping us to allow Elizabeth to continue to enjoy it!
